We realize that you may have questions about your stay at Baja Life Expérience, La Paz, Mexico. We want to make sure your stay is as easy and relaxing as possible, so here are answers to some frequently asked questions.

Check-in time at the Baja Life are flexible.  Check out time is at 12:00 am. Time are flexible if rooms available.

If arriving prior to check-in time, you can relax at the terrasse, have a drink while we are getting your room ready.

Please let us know what time you plan to arrive so that we will come greet you at the airport and have a welcome meeting with you. Also, show you a few things around the complex. We like to stay in touch via text the day of arrival.

How much deposit is required to reserve your stay and what are your payment methods?   

A 50% deposit is required for all reservations. Balance is one month prior to arrival.

We accept Venmo, PayPal or the Cash App.

Confirmation of your reservation, and receipt of your deposit, will be forwarded by email.

What happens should I need to cancel my reservation? 

Because we are a small and a seasonal business, cancellations have a considerable impact. 

In the unfortunate event that you must change or cancel any part of your reservation, notice of 30 days or greater is required. We will work with you to find another date to reschedule your reservation within the same calendar year, however no refunds will be given.

Guests will be responsible for all charges as originally booked if changes or cancellations are received less than 30 days of the stated arrival.

If cancellation is a possibility, we would suggest the purchase of travel insurance.

Guests departing prior to reserved length of time are charged for the entire number of nights reserved. We do not refund for inclement weather.

Please note that there are exceptions to this policy due to COVID. In any cases of airport closure or any international airline closure. We will refund 100% of any payment done. 

How many people can sleep in your guest rooms?

Our guest’s rooms accommodate two to four people. For 3 and more, we have one room with 2 double beds or one room with a pullout sofas.

Do your guest rooms have private baths?  

All our guest rooms at Baja Life have their own private bathroom.

Do the owners live onsite?  

We do not, but live just a mile up the road. We’re just a text or phone call away so please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions.

Are the guest rooms air-conditioned?

Yes, all our guest rooms have wall-mounted ductless cooling units.

What do you have in the room in terms of mini-fridge, TV etc ?  

All our guest rooms have a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board. Beach towel are provided for guests to use.


Do you have Complimentary Wi-Fi?  

Yes, all the complex has Wi-Fi.

Are there phones in the guest rooms?

No, but Baja Life will provide a national SIM Card and will have access to free call to Canada and also you’ll be able to contact us anytime needed if you need help or idea for a good tacos in town.

Are you handicap accessible?  

No, unfortunately we don’t have any ADA rooms.

Can we walk to restaurants, shopping and the beach?

Baja Life is a short walk to our charming town center (less than half a mile from the complex). The scenic coastal walking path, is about 1/2 of a mile from the complex. Restaurant and bars, coffee shop are really close also.

If you prefer not to walk, you can use UBER, it is really safe and easy. UBER will take you anywhere in town for $2.00 per person.

How we close to the beach?

There are several beach options. The most beautiful beaches such as Balandra, Tecolote are about 25 minutes ( Beach bus ride or Uber ) away but once you see these beaches including Balandra which is considered one of the most beautiful in the world, they will be your first choice. Other smaller beaches are less than 10 minutes away by Uber or even 20 minutes by bike. There are small beaches all along the Malecon but they are more for reading, sunset or just relaxing.

Can we rent a bike?

Absolutely, although, La Paz streets are very narrow and traffic can be quite busy during the peak season. Therefore, biking on the bike path is wonderful and safe. La Paz bike path is xx miles and go along the sea.

What sort of public transportation is available in La Paz?

Everything is done on foot from the complex. However, it is possible to take a cab or Uber to get around. There are also local buses that are worth taking at least once during your stay.

10 minutes from LPZ (La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico)
